Marin Ultimate Summer League

Game ON

Registration for MUSL 2011 opened in May, and the season kicked off with the annual pickup game and mixer on June 1st. Here are more details for the new season:

• Games every Wednesday night from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at McInnis Park in San Rafael.
• Regular season begins on June 8th. The season ends (with playoffs?) on August 10th.
• Whenever possible, the gender mix on the field will be 5:2 throughout the game.

We posted rosters and notified all players by email on June 3rd. Please login to look up your captain(s) and teammates in case you haven't seen the email.

As the regular season gets underway, a number of women's spots remain while a very short wait list for men has formed. Registration will stay open throughout the season, and we will place you onto a team pending availability. We will also pro-rate your fees as appropriate. It's never too late to muscle in for some Ultimate action.

Attention Juniors!

To encourage growth of our sport at the youth level, we are offering discounts to junior-level players (meaning < 18 years old). If you are under 18, or still in high school, you qualify for our discount. Please write to us to process your discount before you click the PayPal link or send us a check. All spots are first-come, first-served, so you have to grab a spot early if you plan to play.

NOTE: Because game time and field location are the same every week, we will take a limited number of baggage requests for couples and mentor / newbie situations only. Please write in to make your request. We cannot promise to honor every request, but we'll try.

Sunday Morning Pickup in Larkspur (join the mailing list)

Can't wait for league play to begin? Don't feel like you should have to leave the comforts of Marin to chase some plastic? Well, we've got the game for you. Come out to Redwood High School in Marin and play in one of the longest-running pickup games in Northern California.

• Location: Redwood High School in Larkspur, on the grass soccer field or the turf football field
• Address: 395 Doherty Drive, just off Highway 101
• When: Sunday morning start and end times vary, year-round (barring a tournament weekend when many players are away)
• What about the weather? Occasionally, we'll cancel this game or move it when it gets rainy. To stay on top of the news, the best thing to do is to join our mailing list.
