Near the Log Cabin
For most people, the easiest way to get to Fort Scott fields is to drive to the Golden Gate Bridge toll plaza and then follow these directions below. You'll want to be in the far right lane coming from either direction. The toll plaza is half a mile from the fields.
From SF / South Bay / East Bay:
- 1. US-101 North exits onto city streets once you reach San Francisco. From within San Francisco, continue heading North on US-101 toward the Golden Gate Bridge.
- TIP: The city streets corresponding to US-101 are called Van Ness Ave. when you first exit into the city. You will eventually have to turn left onto Lombard St. to stay on 'US-101.'
- TIP: Traffic on Van Ness Ave. can be quite slow, especially on weekends. Consider using Franklin St. as a faster alternative, one block West of Van Ness. Turn left from Franklin onto Lombard to pick up US-101 again, then resume directions as given, below.
- 2. As the bridge comes into view from Lombard, move over to the far right-hand lane to prepare to exit. Do not pass through the toll plaza. Do not proceed onto the bridge.
- 3. Exit right at the last SF exit, about 100 meters before the toll plaza.
- 4. Keep turning right through the parking lot until you reach Lincoln Blvd.
- 5. Turn right on Lincoln Blvd.
- 6. Continue uphill another 200 meters through the tunnel.
- 7. Just after the tunnel, turn left on Storey Ave.
- 8. The fields will be on the right.

- 1. Take 101 south and cross the Golden Gate Bridge. Move over to the far right-hand lane as you get closer to the toll plaza.
- 2. Exit right at the first SF exit, about 20 meters after the toll plaza.
- 3. Continue uphill on Merchant Rd a short distance until you reach Lincoln Blvd.
- 4. Turn left on Lincoln Blvd. and continue downhill a short distance to Storey Ave.
- TIP: If you find yourself going under an overpass / short tunnel, then you've gone too far and missed Storey Ave. Storey Ave. comes before the overpass / short tunnel.
- 5. Turn right on Storey Ave.
- 6. The fields will be on the right.
